Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How much funding will be awarded for each project? Are there areas which the ICSC does not fund?

    The amount of seed funding awarded by the ICSC depends on the extent of outreach, scalability, sustainability and merit of the proposal. The ICSC will not be funding the development or purchase of infrastructural and hardware setup and ongoing projects.

  2. Must the project be completed by this year? If the project is one that stretches over a few years, would ICSC fund only the first year?

    The project need not be completed within this year. If the project stretches over a few years, the project will be evaluated on a year-by-year basis to determine if continued funding would be provided.

  3. Can several organisations collaborate to submit one proposal?

    Yes. The ICSC encourages proposals that involve multiple partners as it indicates shared responsibility in the area of cyber wellness education.

  4. What are the criteria of evaluation of proposals?

    The proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria as well as merit of the project:

    • Meet ICSC’s objectives;
    • Clarity of approach;
    • Feasibility of implementation;
    • Reach and impact;
    • Sustainability;
    • Scalability; and
    • Financial prudence.

    Organisations with shortlisted projects will be invited to present their proposals to the ICSC.

  5. Do I have to submit progress reports? If so, how often?

    Successful applicants may be required to submit at least one interim report mid-way through the project as a progress update. Upon project completion, a final evaluation report is to be submitted. In addition, applicants may also be required to submit an audited account of expenditure.

    All successful applicants must ensure that they fulfil the terms and deliverables stated in their sponsorship agreement, and produce all materials and documents for verification before funds can be disbursed.

  6. If my previous proposal was not shortlisted, can I submit another proposal for the next call for proposals?

  7. Am I allowed to submit more than one proposal?

  8. When will I know if my proposal has been shortlisted?

    All applicants will be notified of the results via email within four months of the submission deadline.

  9. If I have a really good idea but lack sufficient expertise/capability, can ICSC help to match-make me with another organisation?
