For the first time, the COMPASS Speakers Series is also conducted in vernacular languages this year at the MOE ExCEL Fest 2014.
The Malay language session kicked off with Mdm Roslinda Md Solihin discussing why parents need to be involved in their children’s education and how they can work with their children’s schools to nurture their children.
Mdm Roslinda stressed She highlighted that the goal of every school and every parent is the same – to create and provide opportunities for a child to develop his fullest potential. In her presentation, she offered ways in which parents can forge a strong relationship with schools, to provide the best for their children.
Mdm Roslinda Md Solihin has been in the social service sector for 18 years. She is a certified human behaviourist and has worked with many individuals and families to strengthen family bonds and create successful families. Mdm Roslinda was a speaker on the national Marriage Convention and Parenting Congress, both jointly organised by the Ministry of Social and Family Development.
