Job Description

As an Operations Manager in school, you will help to maintain general discipline in the school and will be involved in the areas of estate management, safety and security, and logistics support.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Discipline Master/Mistress (DM) in planning, implementing and enforcing the discipline policy of the school, including maintaining and analysing disciplinary records and data of students
  • Overseeing the estate management of the school and liaising with contractors on estate maintenance, improvement work and cleanliness of the school
  • Reviewing and maintaining security and safety of the school premises and property, including the establishment of security and safety procedures and the conduct of emergency exercises
  • Providing logistics support for school activities, excursions and functions such as Speech Day, Sports Day and Meet-the-Parents Sessions
  • Working with teachers in the management of student affairs which include supervising students during school activities and going on home visits
  • Supervising a team of school attendants and providing them with on-the-job training for effective school operations


  • A dynamic and motivated individual with good organising abilities, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possesses substantive experience in logistics, estate management, safety and emergency planning and/or discipline management
  • Fire Safety Manager certification would be an advantage
