Notification of Release of 2004 GCE O-Level Examination Results/ 2005 Joint Admissions Exercise

1      The results of the 2004 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Examination will be released on Monday, 28 February 2005.

2      School candidates may collect their results from their schools at 2.00pm on 28 February 2005. Private candidates will be informed of their results by post.  Private candidates may access their results through the Internet after 2.00pm on 28 February 2005, at the following website:
http://www.seab.gov.sg/e-Services/e-Services.htm

Joint Admissions Exercise

3      The Ministry of Education (MOE) conducts the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) to allow holders of Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level certificates to apply for admission to courses offered by junior colleges, the centralised institute, polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).

4      The JAE registration period is 5 working days, starting from 3.00 pm on 28 February 2005 until 4.00 pm on 4 March 2005.

5      Applications for courses under the JAE should be submitted online through the JAE Internet System (JIS), which is accessible through the JAE website at www.moe.gov.sg/esp/schadm/jae. Applicants will require a valid SingPass in order to access the JIS. All JAE application fees incurred must be paid through one of the web-based electronic payment modes available, namely:

a. VISA and MasterCard credit cards
b. VISA Electron debit cards
c. All MasterCard debit cards
d. DBS, UOB and Citibank internet banking accounts
e. FlexiPay
