RELEASE OF THE 2003 SINGAPORE-CAMBRIDGE

GCE A-LEVEL EXAMINATION RESULTS

1           The  Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level Examination is conducted jointly by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicateand the Ministry of Education.

 

2             The results of the 2003 and 2002 examinations for school candidates are as follows:

3          The total number of candidates who obtained 4As in A-Level subjects is 1,559.

 

4          A total of 1,753 private candidates sat for the 2003 examination.  Of these, 651 or 37.2% obtained at least one A-Level pass.

 

5          School candidates have been issued their results by their respective junior colleges and centralised institutes. Private candidates will receive their results by post. Private candidates may also access their results through the Internet on the day of release of results.
