RELEASE OF THE 1999 GCE ‘O’ LEVEL EXAMINATION RESULTS/
2000 JOINT ADMISSIONS EXERCISE

1    Results of the 1999 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Examination will be released on 1 March 2000.

2    School candidates may collect their results from their schools at 2.00pm on 1 March 2000. Private candidates will be informed of their results by post. Private candidates may also access their results through the Internet after 2.00pm on 1 March 2000, at the following websites:

2000 JOINT ADMISSIONS EXERCISE (JAE)

3    Registration for admission to Junior Colleges (JCs), Centralised Institutes (CIs), Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), Singapore Polytechnic (SP), Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) will commence on Thursday, 2 March 2000 at 8.30 am and close on Monday, 6 March 2000 at 4 pm.

 

Registration Using Form A Or Internet

4 All applicants who sat for the 1999 GCE ‘O’ Level Examination will receive Form A together with the results slip from their secondary schools or, for private candidates, on 1 March 2000 by post. The eligibility of the applicants for the various courses is printed in Form A. Form A is to be completed if applicants are:

using only the 1999 GCE 'O' level examination results or
combining their 1998 and 1999 GCE 'O' level examination results.

Applicants can register online at http://admissions.moe.edu.sg/jae. They can also register on computers in the JCs, CIs, polytechnics and ITE institutes.

 

Registration Using Form B

5 Applicants should complete Form B if they wish to use results other than those mentioned in para 4. Form B is available from, and should be submitted to, the Pupil Placement Office, Ministry of Education.
