1998 PRIMARY ONE REGISTRATION EXERCISE: PHASE 2C REGISTRATION

Phase 2C of the Primary One Registration exercise was completed on 31 Jul 98. Of the 197 primary schools, 68 schools had more applicants than vacancies. Where the number of applications exceeds the number of available places in a school, the balloting procedures are in the following order. Priority for places is given first to children living within 1km of the school of choice. Should there still be vacancies, then children living between 1km and 2km of the school will be considered before those living outside 2km of the school.

2 The 68 schools below will be conducting their Phase 2C balloting on Wed, 5 Aug 98. The schools have notified parents of the balloting time. Parents are welcome to witness the conduct of the balloting.

3 Parents who are unsuccessful in the Phase 2C balloting are requested to register their children under Phase 2C Supplementary which will be held on Wed, 12 Aug 98.
