PRIMARY ONE REGISTRATION EXERCISE 1998

Phase 2B of the Primary One Registration Exercise was completed on 22 Jul 98. There were more applicants than vacancies in seven schools. Where the number of applications exceeds the number of available places in a school, the balloting procedures are in the following order. Priority for places is given first to children living within 1 km of the school of choice. Should there still be vacancies, children living between 1 and 2 km of the school will be considered before those living outside 2 km of the school.

2 The seven schools below will be conducting their Phase 2B balloting on Sat 25 Jul 98. Parents are welcome to witness the conduct of the balloting held in the schools. The schools have notified the parents of the balloting time.

3 There are vacancies at Phase 2C in all primary schools. Phase 2C registration will be held from Wed 29 Jul 98 to Fri, 31 Jul 98. Parents can find out details of vacancies by school from the Teletext (Channel 8, Page 283) or the MOE website at http://www.moe.edu.sg.
