SECONDARY ONE POSTING EXERCISE 1995

1. PSLE pupils will be exercising their option for secondary schools from 11 Aug 95 to 18 Aug 95.

2. To assist pupils in choosing the secondary schools, a booklet entitled "Information for Primary School Leaving Examination Candidates Seeking Admission to Secondary Schools in 1996" and a supplementary booklet entitled "Supplementary Information on Schools for PSLE Candidates Seeking Admission to Secondary Schools in 1996" will be issued to each PSLE pupil.

3. The booklet contains information on the various courses, programmes and schemes available in secondary schools; factors to consider when choosing secondary schools; a list of secondary schools showing their locations etc; a flow chart showing the process of posting successful PSLE pupils to secondary schools and a sample Option Form.

4. The supplementary booklet gives the range of aggregate scores of pupils admitted to individual secondary schools in the previous year, the physical fitness level of the pupils and highlights of the extra-curricular activities of each school.

5. To enable the public to gain easy and convenient access to the information, the Ministry has made available the contents of these booklets in the internet. Members of the public can log on to Internet by typing http://www.moe.ac.sg/
