Inter-Ministry Cyber Wellness Steering Committee (ICSC) — Frequently Asked Questions
-
How much funding will external agencies receive? Is there a cap on funding for each project?
Each year, ICSC will provide $2 million dollars to fund cyber wellness initiatives and projects. The amount of co-funding by ICSC is based on the merit of the proposal and the extent of outreach.
-
Must the project for funding this year be completed by this year? If the project is one that stretches over a few years, would ICSC fund only the first year?
The project need not be completed within this year. If the project stretches over a few years, the project will be evaluated on a year-by-year basis to determine if continued funding should be provided.
-
Can several organisations collaborate to submit one proposal?
Yes, the ICSC encourages proposals that involve multiple partners as it indicates shared responsibility in the area of cyber wellness education. Please refer your partner organisations to Section 2.15 of the application form. The lead organisation will submit the proposal.
-
How much co-funding can I expect to obtain?
Funding by the ICSC will depend on the amount requested for (see Section 2.12 of the application form) and the merit of the initiative.
-
Do I have to submit progress reports. If so, how often?
You will be required to submit an interim report mid way through your project as a progress update. After your programme has been completed, a final evaluation report is to be submitted.
-
If I have a really good idea but lack sufficient expertise/capability, can ICSC help to match-make me with another organisation?
Please send in your request to contact@icsc.gov.sg and necessary arrangements will be made on a case by case basis.
