Enrichment Activities: Computer Enrichment Programme
Aim
The aim of the Primary GEP Computer Enrichment Programme is to equip pupils with IT skills and knowledge to enhance their productivity and efficiency.
Objectives
- to equip pupils with word processing, electronic presentation, spreadsheet handling and internet surfing skills and knowledge
- to equip pupils with the skills and knowledge to effectively use computer peripherals and hardware
- to promote the responsible and ethical use of IT and the internet
- to expose pupils to real-world computing through educational visits to computer installations or factories
