MOE-AECES Awards for Kindergartens 2008
To recognise kindergartens and their teachers who have excelled in their profession, the Ministry of Education in collaboration with Association for Early Childhood Educators (Singapore) will be presenting two awards this year:
Outstanding Kindergarten Teacher Award
The Outstanding Kindergarten Teacher Award gives recognition to kindergarten teachers who have demonstrated passion in teaching and learning and displayed commendable personal and teaching qualities.
The award-winning teacher will receive sponsorship to local or overseas conference/study trip, trophies and certificates.
Best Practice Award for Learning Centres
The Best Practice Award for Learning Centres gives recognition to kindergartens which enhance children’s learning experiences through effective use of learning centres and skillful facilitation by teachers.
The principal of the award-winning kindergarten will receive sponsorship to local or overseas conference/study trip, trophies and certificates.
Respective kindergartens will also receive sponsorship to workshops/courses organised by MOE or AECES.
