Kindergarten Innovation Grant

Kindergarten Innovation Grant 2009

In 2009, the Kindergarten Innovation Grant will be opened in 2 phases to encourage kindergartens to engage in innovative practices and to promote a culture of innovation among kindergartens.

Following the success of Phase 1 in Feb/Mar 09, MOE is pleased to invite kindergartens to apply for the 2009 Kindergarten Innovation Grant (Phase 2) for an innovative project that enhances children’s education at the kindergarten. Your project can be in any area, such as programme and pedagogy, use of technology, administrative excellence, professional development of staff or physical environment for learning.

The Innovation Grant may subsidise up to 95% of the project, subject to a maximum of S$5,000 (inclusive of GST) per kindergarten per year. The kindergarten recipients are required to co-pay 5% of the total cost upfront upon funding approval. All kindergartens, including those that have applied before in Phase 1, or in 2008, are eligible to apply for the grant to introduce new and innovative ideas in the kindergarten.
