Submission Via S1 Internet System

Parents can submit the form via the S1 Internet System, through the Secondary One posting website. With the S1 Internet System, parents will not need to make a physical trip to the primary school to submit their child’s secondary school options. They can log on to the S1 Internet System anywhere (with Internet access) and at anytime within the given 7 calendar days (5 working days plus Saturday and Sunday) to submit their child’s secondary school options.

Note: If you do not have access to Internet, you may approach your child’s primary school during the given 5 working days. Please refer to the important dates for PSLE pupils.

Parents can log on to the S1 Internet System using their child’s BC / FIN number and S1 PIN (provided in the sealed customized S1 Option Form). Please refer to the step-by-step guide on the submission of the secondary school options via S1 Internet System (368kb .pdf).

Parents are advised to complete the S1 Option Form. This form is provided to assist parents to decide their child’s secondary school options before they proceed to do their online registration.

Parents are strongly advised to print and retain a copy of the verification slip after they have submitted their secondary school options on the S1 Internet System for their reference. If you are unable to view the verification slip, your secondary school options may not be successfully submitted. If so, you are advised to log on again to confirm that you have a copy of the verification slip.

Submission Through Primary School

Parents are given 5 working days to submit the S1 Option Form to their child’s primary school. Once the option form is submitted to the primary school, no changes to the options are allowed. Hence, parents are advised to ensure that the entries are correct and legible. Parents who have problems filling up the option form may seek assistance from their child’s form teachers.

Note: Parents who may not be in Singapore at the time can authorise a proxy to submit the S1 Option Form to the primary school.

For parents seeking the assistance of the primary schools, the school will key in the options into the system and issue verification slips endorsed with the school stamp. Parents are to check the verification slips to ensure that the options entered are correct and sign on the verification slips. If there are any discrepancies, parents need to inform the primary schools immediately.

Note: Parents should inform the primary school immediately if there are any discrepancies between the options printed in the verification slips and what was submitted in the option form. Any correction must be made during the option submission period.
