Post-Secondary School Placement

Overview

Returning Singaporeans who wish to pursue their post-secondary education may consider the following options:

Admission to Junior College / Millennia Institute

Returning Singaporeans who wish to pursue the pre-university course in a JC/MI should take note that the pre-university course is an intensive and rigorous course and only those who have been assessed to be suitable for the course will be offered a place. Returning Singaporeans who do not qualify for the pre-university course may choose to consider other post secondary options such as the Polytechnics, Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or Privately Funded Schools.

Returning Singaporeans seeking admission to a pre-university course may choose to participate in special school placement exercises such as the School Placement Exercise for Returning Singaporeans — Junior College and Millennia Institute (SPERS-JC/MI) or the Direct School Admission exercise for junior colleges (DSA-JC). Alternatively, Returning Singaporeans may approach their preferred JC/MI directly to apply for admission (General School Placement — JC/MI). Only Returning Singaporeans who have been assessed to be suitable will be admitted to the pre-university course.
