NEW AWARD RECOGNISES WELL-ROUNDED STUDENTS

Given in recognition of students’ academic and non-academic achievements, the Special Awards Presentation Ceremony held on 24 August 2005 saw 74 awards being given out. A new award made its debut in 2005 – the Lee Kuan Yew Award for All-Round Excellence – which recognises well-rounded students who have excelled in both academic and non-academic spheres, and who exemplify positive character development, strong leadership qualities and commitment to service to the community.
